Get on the wrong bus once in a while

Interior metro bus at night

Get on the wrong bus once in a while.
In real estate, we’re trained to study the route — traffic counts, comps, zoning maps, absorption rates. We plan the stop before we ever leave the station.
But sometimes the best opportunities aren’t on the obvious line.
Drive the street that isn’t on your target list. Walk the block that “doesn’t fit the model.” Sit down with the owner who says, “It’s not for sale.”
The “wrong” bus might show you:
• An overlooked infill lot
• A zoning angle others missed
• A neighborhood on the edge of change
• A partnership that shifts your entire trajectory
The deals everyone sees are usually priced accordingly.
The interesting ones? They’re found by people willing to explore a little differently than expected.

Let's talk about it
